Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. competing in the Olympics. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics instructor who would become Comaneci's coach later in life she discovered her when she was six. She first competed at the championships for juniors from Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. Then in the year 1970, she won. She took home three golds at her debut competition at a junior Olympic meet in 1972 that was held by communist countries. Between 1973 and 1974 she won the junior all-round champion. In 1975, she won 4 gold and 1 silver in her first senior international contest. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. She became the first female to perform a reverse double salo with the uneven parallel bar when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager Carol Wayne started working in the entertainment field as a performer as figure skater. With her younger sister Nina Wayne she was part of a show that traveled called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol's first job was in entertainment as a teenager. In her early years she was a figure skater for traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The show featured stage-moving ice-skating shows.
